Garbis Terzian
GARBIS TERZIAN
Born in Aleppo, Syria, Garbis Terzian is an Armenian actor and comedian who has an extraordinary talent to bring laughter wherever he goes. Garbis has been entertaining for nearly 50 years in plays and as a stand-up comedian, performing across the country. His is perhaps best known for his work as the lovable fez-wearing character named Hoja, who he has named after his grandfather. The real Hoja was a teacher who lived in Armenian Cilicia and educated an entire generation of students through his humorous Armenian anecdotes. Garbis’ comedy routines often come in the form of hundred year old Hojaian humor, with a modern twist of his comedic experiences.
Garbis currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida where he regularly performs as a stand up comedian.
